Get ready to get camping right in your backyard! You don’t always have to travel into the backwoods to find the perfect place to camp. Sometimes you can find the perfect place super close to home. Grab your camp stove, your coffee pot, your favorite sleeping bag, and some fairy lights to create your magical space. Here’s some ways you can take advantage of this awesome day!
Invite your family and friends
During these times, we understand how important it is to keep your family close. This is the perfect opportunity for you to do so! Invite the special people in your life and get them over to have some fun!
Grab the scrap wood and get to fire startin’!
Who doesn’t love the smell of fresh wood burning, watching the embers travel up the smoke, or listen to the wood crack as it burns in the fire pit! Be sure to stay safe and be careful when you’re building your bonfire. Grab your favorite hot dogs and get to roasting! Maybe even make some s’mores while you’re at it!
Grab your sleeping bag and blankets!
The weather can always be unpredictable, so you should always make sure that you have plenty of cool weather gear just to be safe. When out in nature, a tent is always an option, but remember that it’s also optional! If you’re feeling adventurous, you can grab your favorite sleeping bag, like Marmot’s Trestles 30 sleeping bag and sleep directly under the stars! Stay comfy by adding an awesome sleeping pad too!
